Our Story — The Plant Pole Co.

The idea for The Plant Pole Co. was born out of pure frustration. As a plant lover, I spent years searching for moss poles that would truly support my climbing plants — but time and again, I was disappointed. So many poles on the market were cheaply made — often just coco coir wrapped around a flimsy stake, or built with materials that broke down far too quickly. And even though the quality didn't match the price, they were still surprisingly expensive.

That's when I decided to take matters into my own hands. I started experimenting with materials I could source myself — natural moss, sturdy internal supports, and a design focused on long-term plant health and stability. The results exceeded my expectations. The poles weren't just better for me — they were better for the plants themselves.

A moss pole shouldn't just hold a plant upright — it should help it thrive, mature, and grow into its fullest expression.

So I built The Plant Pole Co., with one simple idea at the center of everything we do: Support what grows.

What started as a personal solution quickly became something I knew other plant lovers could benefit from. Today, every pole is designed with that same intention: durability you can trust, materials chosen with care, and a focus on giving your plants the structure they need to flourish, without breaking the bank.
